Writing before the start of the 4th Test Match, Jim Maxwell wrote (on the Australian Broadcasting Service website): "Australia had a hiccup at Cardiff, a banquet at Lord's, a stomach upset at Edgbaston".

Any suggestions as to the metaphor he might now be considering for the events at Trent Bridge?

Buenchico Question Author Shouldn't 'dysentery' (or Daisy's alternative) only be used in a situation where a side has plenty of 'runs'? dysentery is ok .....Broad went through them like last nights curry.

Now now, Chris I must protest .... That doesn't apply to all of us !! Beginning to think our team have lost theirs somewhere between here and there though, if I'd been at Trent Bridge I'd have asked for a refund !!
