How do you change a URL to text?

I see many answers on AB where it says "...just click here" and the word 'here' is a hyperlink to a URL and somehow it has been changed from showing the whole URL to just showing the word 'here'. How do you do this please? cheers!

Copy and paste the address.

Press Enter (so it turns it blue).

Highlight the link and write what you want to change it to (with no spaces).

Press Enter again.

Go back and put in spaces if needed.

et voila.

That only starts in IE.

If you use firefox it can be done, but is more complicated than that.

One small correction to sholay's post:

After pasting in the url DO NOT PRESS ENTER, press the spacebar instead. Pressing 'enter' adds <P> to the end of the url and then it won't work.

I've always pressed enter and its always worked for me.
