What causes the tingling feeling and the hairs on the back of ones neck to stand up when for example we hear a moving piece of music?

It's to do with particular types of harmonies. Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves form Nabucco does it for me, and I believe it's something to do with the intervals of thirds.
