Good. Gave control of Interest rates to the Bank of England. Abolished hunting. Gave a renewed feeling of happiness to the country when they first came to power.

Bad. Invaded Iraq. Blair cronies and people/ ministers being ousted if they did not agree with Blair. Open & relentless support and funding for vivisection / genetic research etc. (Blairs fingers in all the money pies which stinks of corruption. Seems to have lost any ideals he may have held). "Terrorism" laws.

OK THAT 'S FOUR I KNOW

Yes, I'm SO tired and disgusted with Blair, his cronies and Party. Obviously their agenda has NOT been for the good of Britain or the British people, so they have not fulfilled ther promises. (Remember "Tough on crime and the causes of crime," ?? ) The Iraq war was and is a disgrace, we shouldn't have got involved. Our troops were also let down with no proper equipment, etc. Our tax money scandalously wasted, criminals et al being allowed into this country with no checks. This is a small country, there just isn't room or facilities for millions of incomers. Our NHS is in chaos, schooling problematical, pensions a disgrace.
Good-- brought in minimum wage and got people off the tories policy for the working classes of 1 an hour.

Bad--- We are now firmly in the mire of what is another Vietnam and will cost this country countless millions until we get out of it.
Blair must surely be the worst Prime Minister this country has ever had.
He and his Party have not upheld the decent ideals of socialism of the movement's originators. This current lot should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

It infuriates me that on Blair's walkabouts in public, people actually smile at him or shake his hand. They SHOULD be throwing rotten cabbages...........

This is the most corrupt and sleaziest goverment, post war, I said this before the Three Muskateers were found out, and that makes it 'how much worse'?,

Good, they've recruited a recorded number of Police, Bad, most of them are behind desks.

Good, our economy is very strong, Bad, The Chancellor sold half our Gold Reserves, and raded our pensions, and raised taxes, among other things, to do it, we'll pay for it, in spades.

Good, labour say strict immigration laws are going to be put into place, Bad, they've had nine years to do it, and at present, its estimated there are 570.000 illegal immigrants living here at the moment, most, came here during this goverments tenure.

I could go on, but i'll leave some space for others,

Could you pick three out of the following :-)

Low interest rates

Banned anti-personnel mines

Introduced the Disability Rights Commission
200 winter fuel payment to pensioners & extra 100 for over-80s
Negotiated the Good Friday Agreement in Northern Ireland

This is getting very interesting

Redsun :-)

(The Originator)

Good:
1. Incorporated the European Convention on Human Rights into domestic UK law.
2. Introduced statutory minumum wage.
3. Established devolved government for Scotland, Wales and London.

Bad:
1. Created a climate of hysteria by enacting kneejerk reactionary laws to oppress the population on the pretext of fighting against terrorism.
2. Wants to introduce a horrendously draconian, expensive and complicated ID card scheme and database.
3. Further integrated the UK into EU laws and institutions.

Well I can find plenty of fault with Phiby's list. Most of it is sheer tinkering - free fruit to 6 year olds I ask you - Thats the nanny state gone mad.

What is there for the most of us who pay. Oh yes a 45billion raid on our pensions meaning we will have to work till who nkows what age (whislt civil servants incl ministers etc retire on huge sums funded by us)

And hardly a balanced view eh philby. The question asked for 3 bad too - any government of any party having been in for so long would have bad points - Are you that biased ?

Good

1) War on Terrorism

2) Kept the economy reasonable, although I think we wil be bitten n the futre by the highest taxes ever

3) Maintained a good working relationship with the USA

Bad (where do I start ?)

1) Human rights act - underlying issue to most of our law and order problems

2) Bloated and beaurocraic civil service and nanny state

3) Established evolved governments - extra beaurocratic expense

Strange though how the lefties bad points aer often my good. !

Getting so upset will make your face go RED old boy :-)
