I know the eagle story isn't over yet, but just so you can see some lovely adorable baby raptors, have a look at these peregrine falcons:

Three fluffy babies hatched today, and 2 viable eggs left!

Thanks for the revised link, smudge.

Just click on LIVE video below the main pic. There's live stream and sound too!

The babies are so fluffy and wriggly :D

Just popping back before I go to bed - you're welcome estie.

What a wonderful Mummy she is. Every time you get to spot the little chick's feathers, she nustles it & the two eggs back under her tummy!

Nitey, nite, sleep tight.

A little verse for all:

The Eagle (A Fragment )
by Alfred, Lord Tennyson

He clasps the crag with crooked hands;
Close to the sun in lonely lands,
Ring'd with the azure world, he stands.

The wrinkled sea beneath him crawls;
He watches from his mountain walls,
And like a thunderbolt he falls.

Sadly, it's all over now.

I've just posted what I've just seen on here - goodnight estie.

Yes I saw the empty nest earlier today. Posted about it on cetti's other thread. It is very very sad.
