I'm thinking of doing a course. Is it hard? What is the average wage in London and potential earnings and career possibilities?

Thanks chico. Will look into it. Do you think it would a lucrative career move? There was something on the news that there aren't enough skilled workers in this field so thought it would be a wise move to get in on this.
Finding a good employer might be tricky. Most of the BT OpenReach people I've met don't seem to be very happy in their work!
Level 2 C&G is not difficult, easily passed by anyone with GCSE level education. The label of engineer is seriously overstating matters.
