Is there anything I can do extend my rings so that I can get to the phone on time. At the moment I think my phone only rings 3 times when the voice message comes on - doesn't give me time to hardly get off the settee and of course I don't hear the voicemail properly. I think it is another one from the surgery but worded differently Thanks for any answers - maybe 7-8 rings would help. Thanks

Have you got the free 1571 service or the one you pay for which is called call minder. the free one is set at 7 rings and cannot be altered. With call minder if you dial 1571 and choose option 3 you can change the number of rings.
Change how long BT Call Minder Multi allows your fixed
line to ring before diverting to your voicemail:
• Dial 1571
• Press 3 for Settings
• Press 3 for Mailbox Settings
• Press 1 to access Divert time to voicemail
To retain the current Divert time to voicemail setting:
• Press 1
To change the time before diverting to your voicemail:
• Press 2
Four options are available:
• Press 0 for Immediate Divert - 0 rings
• Press 1 for Short Divert - call will divert after 4 rings
(12 seconds)
• Press 2 for Medium Divert - call will divert after 7
rings (21 seconds)
• Press 3 for Long Divert - call will divert after 10 rings
(30 seconds)
