I know the patients have to give their permission to be filmed, but who would want him by your bedside trying to be God, and trying his best to make them upset for the cameras with his patronising interviewing crap.

Well, I wouldn't but, as you say, some people must be okay with it.
Gave it 10 mins., couldn't stand any longer !
Revolting man ... I remember him telling a young couple to go and make their own family after a dna test ... she was 16. Wonder what he would have said if that was said to his own 16 year old. Couldn't bear to even give it 10 mins. Agree 110% with you.... and then a bit more!
I can't believe it! This appalling, patronising, jumped up little man thinks he is a suitable person to stand in for medical appraisals and interrupt the professionals and add his own input. ITV must be mad to think viewers will buy it. He talks over the patient and discusses their problems without them even participating. Ugh! pass the sick bag! Since when did he have the credentials in medical matters?
