go to tools click on internet options type in home page you use
As ray44554 says, try typing your homepage in the internet options. If the problems persists, search for and download a program called HijackThis, which should remove it.If you still have the problem after this, then I would imagine that it is more than a simple browser hijack, and you will have to find other ways of removing it.

If you are using IE then select Tools then Internet Options then Programs tab then Manage Add-ons button.

Search the list of the programs that have been added to your browser to see if this dodgy one has been listed.

You can select it then use the button at the bottom to disable it.

A very useful program to stop this happening, and other things happening, is WinPatrol. It is free and you can download it here.

http://www.winpatrol.com/

This runs all the time and monitors your windows session. If any program tries to install itself, or change your home page, up update your hosts file, or all sorts of other things, you get a warning.

You can then say Yes or No.

I have it on all my computers.

does winpatrol use alot of system resources or memory??

No Winpatrol is very light on memory and resources.

If you look on the winpatrol web site there are a few quotes from reviewers that say as much.

You will not even know it is running until it pops up to warn you a program has been installed or someone is trying to change your home page.

Sorry VEHELPFULGUY - despite McAFEE Av and Firewall I am currently stuck with "youronlinesecurity.com" and "realsecurityonline" (don't go there!). Your IE suggestions didn't work for this baby - any other ideas?

Surely this type of invasion must be illegal?????

I had this problem earlier this week and it was a ****** to get rid of.

Luckily I found an anti virus program that I had never heard of thats running a free trial and it got rid of the sucker.

Download it from here http://free.prevx.com/

It takes a little while to scan your system but dont worry, once its done it once it loads when windows does and seems very stable.

In a very rare act for me, I may even buy it after ther trial ends !
