Toyota Yaris Clutch

The clutch on my parents 53 plate Yaris now "slips" badly when you accelerate hard. Is this a clutch auto adjust problem or is the clutch on it's way out? It doesn't smell yet. If it is the clutch how, much are we looking at roughly to replace one in this model?

It sound's like the Clutch, £250 / £300, is about right, look around & get a quote, do not use the dealers or K.F. they will charge you a mint.
