I was at GP today because I have had terrible headaches over the last few days co-codamol and ibruprofen not touching them. He asked me a weird question how was my emotional health was I harbouring anger and bitterness because he said there is a link between our moods and physical health. Never been asked that before he was quite young a locum about 30. Anyway he is concerned I am on 10mg Bisoporol for AF and my blood pressure is high 163/101 i didnt think it was that bad. I am waiting for an echocardiogram because doc suspects mitral valve problem i have to see him on wednesday he is going to speak to cardiologistwith a view to looking at changing medication for AF. AF has actually been fine of recent.

Can your mental well being cause physical symptoms? Yes very much so - if we are stressed whether angry or sad we tense muscles and that can bring pain.

I might add Cocodamol causes me headaches too.
