Seeing as it's the lowest it's ever going to be at the moment, what are your opinions on whether I should purchase some Iraqi Dinar's?

Sure the country is more or less in civil war at the moment, but should it get back on it's two feet and brush itself off, it has a wealth of natural gas and oil reserves which are crutical in these energy lacking times.

Well? To buy or not to buy?

It's a gamble, not an investment. It might pay off, it might not.

Beware of paying over the odds. Beware of being sold fake dinars.

I first heard of this a few months back and gave it some thought ....... I eventually decided if a new Iraqi currency was introduced I would be stuffed :-o How do think Iraqi dollar sounds? lol

BTW. I heard of this by purchasing a .99p e-book from ebay .............. I think it stated "Turn 10k into a 100k overnight"! ........... well at .99p I just had to take a look :-)

This should help you decide. i was tempted but decided against it.

The above link has now convinced me it is a con! (which was the same info I received + other similar sties for my .99p ebay purchase)

I have just took a closer look at the above site and I see the price of 1,000.000 Iraqi Dinar has been reduced to only 520 ........... that is a cool 145 more than my bank would charge!
