Answerbank home page says 'Think 'Robin Hood' and in the mind's eye most people will see Erroll Flynn. That's the Hollywood image. '

.

Not me; I guess I'm one of the older people here and Errol Flynn was before my time. Who is Robin in the publics mind? Kevin (Prince of Thieves) Costner, or Michael Praed or Jason Connery (Robin of Sherwood) TV series, or Richard Green from teh 60s TV series. Whose Robin?

I'm 30-something, and i'd say Erroll!
kevin costner (sadly...)
Kevin
i'm 25 and for me it's got to be wayne morris who played robin in cbbc's maid marian and her merry men!
I think of Cary Elwes who played in the movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I haven't been able to take the legend seriously ever since!
Michael Praed! clannad singing the hooded man on saturday late afternoon.....fry up for tea...mushrooms yum!
Pom pitty pom pitty pom pom pompom, pom pitty pom pitty pom pom porrrrrrm! Robin Hood, Robin Hood, riding through the glen; Robin Hood, Robin Hood with his band of men. Feared by the bad; loved by the good, Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood!

Yep, it's Richarde Greene. He was so lifelike (not!). I always thought there was something going on between Will Scarlet and Little John. Dozy Robin only had eyes for Maid Marion do couldn't see the sub-plot!
Definitely Richard Greene!
I like to think of the Robin Hood in Blackadder Back and Forth. However I can't remember who it is, because I only have eyes for Kate Moss's Maid Marian. Yum!
Then of course there's Robin Hood in Shrek...
Richard Greene.
