please please help what does CRT mean?

I know this might sound stupid...but i need to know what CRT means? Im trying to buy a new computer desk and in the Argos book it keeps saying 'suitable for CRT monitor'...i have a bulk standard monitor, the old-fashioned style...please help so i can go ahead a purchase...

It stands for Cathode Ray Tube which is the big old style of monitor you have!
