Is there any evidence that copper contains arthritis-relieving properties? I know that the bracelet thing has been asked before, but is there a simple chemical answer as to why this method should work with pain relief?

I don't think it's the copper itself which has arthritis-relieving properties but something to do with copper ions helping with the transport of aspirin across membranes. Sorry to be a bit vague but I will try to get more details.
