My rhubarb seems to be pushing up a stalk with a flower that looks a bit like a cauliflower head.

I've not seen it flower before - should I just leave it, or removethe flower stalk.? Is itthe end for the clump?

If you want to continue harvesting rhubarb, cut the seed stalk off immediately. It takes a lot of energy away from the plant and will affcect the quality of the rhubarb. If you want to propagate a new patch of rhubarb always use some of the existing crowns rather than trying to grow from the seeds. It can be done, but they don't always stay true to the seed. Spring is the best time to transplant rhubarb...
