Hi,

I have just started bead classes and learning how to make my own jewellery. I am having a tough time finding beads that are the centrepiece of jewellery i.e focal beads, cabochons, diochric glass etc.

Does anyone know of sites that sell these pieces?

Thanks in advance, Megan

Thanks for that! Alot of products but not alot of the large beads ... maybe I need to search the jumble sales!!

I have bookmarked the site because it has got a big selection of smaller beads so thanks for recommending it!

If your anywhere near London, visit the Bead Shop at 21a Tower Street, in Covent Garden. I used to get all my stuff there.

Their website (www.beadshop.co.uk) also has an online store.
I recommend you a website. It's a jewelry products wholesaler in China - lampwork beads, pearls, jewelry supplies, crystal, gemstones, etc. Cheap and fast delivery.

Hi Megan, I was in a similar position to you when starting out so did some searching online and came across the-beadshop who were located close to me in Manchester. As well as having their shop online they also run a bead school/academy where I attended and learnt some great tips from their team and others in my position. Would definitely recommend them to anybody starting out. Here is a link to their site and the academy.
www.the-beadshop.co.uk and http://academy.the-beadshop.co.uk/events/
hope this helps
