"Men turn jealous at the most fertile time of the month" - an article in today's Daily Telegraph.

In brief: "Men become more jealous and wary of dominant males when their wives or girlfriends are at their most fertile. Men whose partners were close to ovulation were more aware of classically dominant facial features in other men, scientists found. The study backs up findings that women are both more likely to have affairs and are more attracted to alpha males during the fertile period of their menstrual cycle."

A while back I discussed on here the scientific theory that when a woman is fertile near ovulation her partner preference shifts. We prefer asymmetrical 'rugged' types supposedly, or 'alpha males'. Sounds pretty dangerous to me.

Why can't life be simpler, eh?

Have you not realised though whilst on your menstrual cycle you attract more attention from the male form?

Look out for it

A recent scientific study found that women find male faces attractive depending where they are in their cycle. Women ovalating prefer rugged masculine features & when menstruating, they prefer a man doused in petrol, set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eyes & a cricket stump rammed up his @rse.
A load of gorbellied clay-brained canker-blossom if you ask my opinion.

ROFL @ Slooow_jo!!

Greedyfly, I'm going to test your theory. ;o)
umm not so sure if flushed, red, blotch, grumpy, awkward, chubby bleeding messes are top of my list TBH.
hoe does that work for gay people then,by the way im not gay but my husband is.ha

I'd say that's probably fairly accurate, certainly ovulating women give of a different aura than when they aren't ovulating so figure that it could follow all the way through to what this article suggests.

LMAO at slooow-jo btw.

sorry to ask another question within an answer.

So is it when women are ovulating that they give off this scent/aura? and if it's an aura what is that meant to be - like a phsical energy?

is it when u are actually on your period or before your period? i was on last week and was stopped four times in the street on separate days (and once in tesco!!! how bizarre) by men telling me they thought i was beautiful. i was joking with my mates that i must be 'on heat'...could this be something to do with it?
