I have been sent an excel spreadsheet but have MS Works and can't open it. Is there any way that I can?

Not directly. You really need it re-sent in a compatible format, such as Lotus 123 if I remember rightly.

There is a free excel viewer from Microsoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?Fa
milyID=4EB83149-91DA-4110-8595-4A960D3E1C7C&displaylang=EN but you will only be able to read the files not change/create them.

depends on ur version of works--but try opening works--blank spreadsheet--go to file/open--navigate to ur excel file --double click on it and it may open--works(xcuse pun) for me
