Is anyone else having trouble getting into Cerescape (www.cerescape.com) ? I keep getting a message saying that the account has been suspended.

I am getting the same message (m485)

Yes, me too. An assumption which I hope is wrong, is that poor John Goss has not been able to afford the hosting fees ?

Does anyone have a rough idea as to how much they might be ?

Thanks Peter - I thought the problem might have been at my end, ha ha. I'll email John G and see what's going on. If I get a reply I'll post it here (but he may well be too busy fixing the problem to reply !).

Hiya Whiffey - maybe we should have another whip round to help young John !!

Hi RA, if this indeed the case, could you ask him by how much he is short ?

I hope it's sorted soon, I was just getting used to it. I hope he's not short of cash
Question Author
Well, I emailed John but have had no reply so far, of course he might just be down the pub having another pint !!

Re the cost - a one time licence costs approx $1225 (690) which includes one year's support, otherwise a one-year licence costs $425 (240) - more info from:-

(I'm assuming it's cPanel that CS is on, as that's the website I got directed to when I backtracked on the CS suspension page.)

I do hope this isn't a bit premature, but CS seems to be up and running again now guys :)

Apparently it is financial, as explained here:-

I've been making monthly donations since December, so I hope he gets more to join in, so we can have it back up again soon.

Question Author
Like Frankleigh says, it's a financial problem. I've sent him some dosh (using paypal and very easy it was too) - if everyone who uses the site sent a little money, John would be able to get it back up and running. What's really needed though are regular donations so he could plan for the future - it doesn't need to be very much from everyone either.
Question Author
Looks like folk have been generous enough for John to be able to sort the financial stuff out (for now anyway) - check out his update on the website :)
Well done everyone - CS is back up and running.
