how can i find out about a court case in the crown court??? my friend was recently sentenced if poss i would like to get hold of the transcript and where they sent him to prison?? any ideas

Contact the Crown Court in whichever town and give them a name. They should at least be able to tell you the sentence. Depending on what the case was, the local newspapers may have covered it. You can try and contact them for a transcript or at the least, coverage of the trial.
