What do you think of his views on this matter?

Could the Princes Trust play a key role in preventing young people being radicalised and also what about 'protector of other faiths' in multicultural Britain?

Indeed, agchristie.
Not sure I agree "the scale of the task is mammoth.""

There are 2,700,000 muslims in the UK and an estimated 1,500 have got to fight for ISIS. That is a really piddling small number.

@ Gromit

Complacency is not the way forward.
Gromit, and as you said on another thread "1,500 are unlikely to return".

If you're sure of that it's good news at least.
Naomi,
Yes it is. ISIS are taking heavy losses, so presumably the amateur volunteers from Tipton, Small Heath and Tower Hamlets are not fairing too well. Fingers crossed.
Indeed.
Prince Charles is maybe well meaning, but in his closeted world he has no experience or understanding of people , the idea that the internet radicalises young people is wrong. The Muslim faith is much maligned and he helps to stir up ignorant ideas. the majority of muslims are decent people and only a very small proportion of the 2,700,00 in s country become jihadists. As for british values, what exactly are they? . The number of criminals/sex offenders are more numerous here. Charles should stick to talking to his flowers and flying round the world having so called meetings with foreign powers, (More like holidays)

@ maera

You seem very critical of the POW. How does he stir up ignorant ideas? His concerns about radicalisation are shared by a vast amount of people despite the number of converts against the general Muslim population in the UK.

As has been mentioned the internet is clearly a factor in the process. You stated it isn't so how is it happening in your view?

As for 'what are British values'? I think the future King is well qualified to comment.
maera, // The Muslim faith is much maligned//

Is it? In what way? And if you feel it’s being singled out, why do you think that is?

@ Naomi

Does it have to do with British values whatever they are?...
I would hope British values embrace respect for human life rather more than these people appear to.
// 1,500 have got to fight for ISIS. That is a really piddling small number. //

Agreed. We should be encouraging more to go. As long as they don't want to come back it's not a problem.

It's like a Darwin awards for country's gene pool. Good riddance to them.

Agreed

@ Ludwig

Or that any who try to return are kept out!
