Moderately owlish -larks don't even come into it - but is there a bird for peaking about mid-afternoon?
Completely and utterly a lark.
Moderately owlish for me. I have to say I am not a morning person, I function as long as no-one wants to start a conversation with me. I will feel completly shattered at 6pm and maybe nod off for half an hour, at about 10.30pm the lights are on and I am fully awake to read my book, surf the net etc.
askyougran: Are the lights on early this evening then?
Just groping dizmo
Grandfather told me over sixty years ago about the benefits of "early to bed, early to rise" how soon is it likely to start kicking in?
I'm a dedicated night owl.......my familiar is a black cat......☻
Ah.

Supposed to be moderately larkish but am a night owl.
Why else would I be posting now?

If I still had one it would be grey, gness
Did Shoota make you say that, Daisy?.....☺
i have always had problems sleeping. these days i go to bed at about 3.00am and sleep for about 2hrs then toss and turn and fitfully sleep until 10.30 sometimes 11.30am. if i went any earlier i would just toss and turn ALL night .i used to take cough medicine that made me drowsy, antihistamine used to work as well. i can't get my doctor to take it seriously so i have to muddle along.
Also rubbish, I'm not moderately larkish at all, just because I wouldn't want to go to the gym at 10pm at night.
I have a preference for work-outs at the gym in the morning, LOL.

I'm definitely not a morning person. I have road rage followed by bus rage between 7 and 8am.
