Is there solution to the removal of tea bags when tea is made in individual mugs? I seem to get piles of them and trails of dripping tea stains from the removal to the bin. Then water pools at the bottom of the bin. Is there a wonderful invention that will squeeze out all the moisture at the point of removal?

dustypuss: Also a waste of money :) I'm not critising your post - if it works for you and thousands of other (as it must otherwise it would of never 'got off the ground') then fair doos.
I once bought my woman a pair of squeezers for tea bags, as crushing against the mug seemed awkward and uncertain to remove sufficient water. She had the cheek to complain the tea didn't taste the same, and I never saw them again !?! Probably went to some charity shop.

Of course all this can be avoided if one buys a jar of instant tea granules.
I like a cuppa you can stand your spoon up in so no drops or drips with my teabags - a small dish at one side to hold the squeezed out bags till cold , then bin (no compost or recycling here).
Mamya: Builders tea then?
If he doesn't want it, yes.;-)
Corrrr, a fiver for a tea bag squeezer?

That makes my heart (not to mention my purse) cry!
I keep a small type saucer inches from the kettle, so no problem and no drips.
We have a work top compost bin, put them in there.
Job done.
I bought at a food show a silver chrome container size of a tea caddy but looks the same as a "sharps" container, I put a folded piece of kitchen roll on the bottom inside to take the drips and just put the squeezed teabag inside, when full I put the lot into a plastic supermarket bag and put in the bin, the stainless steel container comes out sparkling from the dish washer.
Do you not recycling where you live.? I thought it was all over the UK now a days.?
I always put mine in there straight away.? SOmetimes if more than one or two I put them in a small container and take it to the bin on the work top.?
Dry them out and reuse when relatives call...
Coffee?
A fist?
You could make wine with them, it can be very nice.
