I need to replace a pretty dead non-digital camera, and like the look of buying a digital camera and printer that I can print photo quality pics on (Eg Kodak Easy Share). I take lots of pics and scan them on to my computer and only need a few printed out. Which is the best middle of the road option? Also, is the 'dock' a standard size? Will I need to buy a set or will any camera fit any photo printer? Thank you!

As you have a computer I would get the Digital Camera which will come with a printer programme allowing you to print your shots in a variety of ways on a printer and also alter them, good photo quality printers are not expensive.
The dock is probably an easy option but you should look at the Epson Stylus Photo R220 printer - probably cheaper and it prints on CDs/DVDs as well. As RoaldoM says, though, you might be better off getting your photos printed locally.
As the above say, it's easier just to stay away from the dock option. It's only for that specific camera, and even though it's perhaps easier to use, if you ever want to be able to load the pictures up on your computer and play about with them (improve them, etc.) then you'd be much better off getting a decent proper printer as wideboy suggests. And that's half the fun of digital! Or just do as ronaldo suggests. The cameras come with little cards that store the pictures on them (you'd be well advised to get a larger capacity one at the same time as buying the camera; they ones they come with don't store much). you just hand the card to the guy in your supermarket or boots etc., and they'll print the things for you.

Take a look at the Casio S500. For general use, it's a brilliant camera. If you like something with more manual controls, then the Z750 is a great option (or its successor the Z850).

Thank you so much! Much better than getting a dock etc.
