I have a 04 reg Citroen xsara Picasso. It is always hard to start in cold mornings ( diesel) but usually after labouring a little it starts. However, today it started to flash the message REG ON and bleeping whilst trying to start and then started dying . Any ideas. . . ?? It still won't start

The bad starting on cold mornings is probably down to bad glow plug(s), no idea what REG ON means though. Check your owners hand book to see what that means.
