Evenin all , can anyone remember the name of the ska group that sung borderline rude /suggestive songs. I remember my mum and dad and their friends really laughing about the lyrics ; all the time I didn't know what they were laughing at. About 20 years ago I got a copy of their album from Vis, but have moved on since then and me minds going !! I think one track was called Big Ten, ( or was that Dave and Ansil Collins???) Help please !!!

It was a solo artist, not a group (although we was on the tubby side!). He went by the name of Judge Dread and tended to set rude versions of nursery rhymes to a light reggae beat.

He had several hits in the 70s, pretty much all banned by the BBC. His real name was Alex Hughes and he died in 1998.
