I couldn't be doing with all the fancy mancy stuff where you greet with kissing and hugging. I'll great with women and allow them to pec me on the cheek and the blokes will get a hand shake but I'm not for French way *mwah mwah and mwah*

Hi Dizmo, I think it's a lovely idea, as long as the person receiving the hug is o.k with it. I think it can only be appreciated mostly, who knows what troubles people have in their day to day lives? It might really make someone's day to have that brief physical contact.
