How Many Cold Calls/texts Have You Had This Year?

Just wondering, doing a little survey as I know the rules are supposed to have tightened up this year...
Who has had a cold call about Personal Injury or Payment protection insurance? Is your phone number on the TPS database? have you reported the call?

Me: I haven't had a car accident.
He: is there someone else in you household ...,
At this point I told him very politely that has call was unwanted.

Am with TPS. still get calls from abroad, usually starting 002, and doing a survey, they are told where to go!


Same as Baldric. Had a couple of texts on my mobile offering me loans, PPI recovery. When my mobile rings and I see 'Unknown Number' I don't answer it.

I get several recorded messages a week on my mob about PPI. I used to get calls about car accidents that I had never had but I've told them to take me off their records and stop cold calling me. Haven't received any for several weeks now.

I am also registered with TPS but the calls do still get through, I have had only 4 this year lol about personal injury regarding a car accident I had ages ago. What is peeving me at the moment - and I digress from the OP is the amount of junk mail the Post Office are posting to my address !

The companies can't have much of a market to canvass anymore ! I was expecting a lot more replies than this, or maybe the new rules have made a difference! You can always claim back your PPI yourself. Just ring your bank and ask how.

We bought a BT85000 Advanced Call Blocker phone from BT in November as we were getting between 1-10 unwanted calls per day.
Now we only get calls from people we want to get calls from. The difference is amazing and well worth the cost of the new phone.
I never give out my mobile number. I just say I can't remember it.

TOO MANY!! I still get texts from PPI chasers and, ambulance chasers and other pests!
