Ok, if you are like me, once Christmas is over and normality resumes, it is nice to have something to look forward to in the upcoming year.
So who has a holiday or event booked in for next year and what is it.
We are looking forward to Florida/Disney World in May. I am a big kid at heart and cant wait to see how much our little fella (6yrs) will love the magic of Disney. I am also planning a special 1st anniversary break for me and the wife.

Planning a holiday in May for OH's birthday. We're looking at Croatia, Portugal or Malta. I can't make my mind up.

Having a few days away in Feb and will do something for my birthday in July. At some point we'll probably fit in a trip back to Ireland.
Morning, Jd....can't say normality ever resumes here.....but I love Disneyland. We used to drive down from Canada to the one in California.....

Six years is a fantastic age to experience it too....you'll get as much fun from his pleasure....

I have a longish holiday in Ireland planned....and that's all at the moment...but this retirement lark is great so there'll be a few more....

Enjoy Disney.....and your anniversary break....x
So far a trip to RSPB Minsmere in May. No holidays booked as yet - we are working around our elderly dog.
The Rugby League Magic Weekend, which is taking place in Newcastle, over the last weekend in May. We've done the Sunday in Cardiff before, but this should be the first chance to do both days.
Several Bruges trips planned as always plus SW France and also a trip to Sweden.

ummmm, cant help with your proposed destinations as I haven't visited any of them. But, I do love Ireland and would like to explore more of the west coast soon.
janbee - I would love to return to Bruges, only been once

Hope you all enjoy your proposed breaks
My daughter's family are from Belmullet, Co Mayo....you can't go much further west than that. It's stunning.

We'll be in Sligo with a few visits to Mayo. I'm Tipperary but it's a bit of a trek from Sligo where OH has a house.

It's really expensive though. Last time we came back, sitting in the airport waiting for our bus and me thinking the airport prices looked really cheap :-)
jd, if you live nearby , we could have a day trip to Bruges
Mr and the Mr are off to Dublin this weekend, we've had a bad year with family dying over there so we've been summonsed for a happy occassion.

Looking at a cheeky trip round April time, Chicago, Vancouver or Montreal, undecided on which one, the Mr just wants to go where he can get some decent fitting Ralph Lauren trousers.
Adelaide,Australia on 22nd.Jan.for 4 weeks,then Spain in August for a week.
Lake Garda, in July.
Two weeks in Zakynthos booked for end of June. We go every year, I love it. Will have a week somewhere else too in the winter, but we will decide on where nearer the time. I really look forward to my holidays, and the countdown will start as early as tomorrow!
I'm off to France in May, make a trip through the Pyranees into Spain
