I've imported over a phone charger from China, and it has 2 flat pins. To operate it in the UK do I need just a plug converter or will I have to buy a voltage adaptor? I don't know much about electricity, on the back on the plug it says:

Input: 100-240V ~ 100mA, 50-60Hz
Output: 4.9VDC === 450mA

And which plug adaptor would I need?

Cheers!

Think China use 110V, but

Input 100-240V means ok for use in UK.

Not sure what the plug is like, but sounds like may be similar to American - try using a shaver adpater

Your phone charger is suitable for use with any alternating current (not direct current from a battery etc) with a voltage rating of between 100 to 240 volts. I am not in Pommieland but I believe your voltage supply is either 120 or 220 volts AC so the charger should work ok in your country. You will however have to procure an adaptor (available from most electronic supply stores) to enable you to connect to your power outlet. I suspect the two flat pins you mention will be the same as used on some razors.
