Is anybody else struggling??

I cant get accomodation anywhere, can anybody recommend any form of accomodation that is within a 10 mile radius? Its for one night on the 30th September!

The Lambton Worm Hotel/Pub might have availablilty. Its not the grandest accommodation, but it fulfils your requirements, and the Pub is excellent.

Its in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham approx 10miles due south of Newcastle on the A167.

I've just checked a couple of online booking sites- I've found availability at the Express by Holiday Inn on St James Boulevard (just opened a couple of months ago) at �100/room inc breakfast. Also at the Village Hotel, which is at Cobalt Business park, just north of the tunnel, for �130/room. Haven't looked at anything outside of Newcastle yet, but there is obviously some, though not a lot, of availability.

Have you tried making arrangements through the GNR's official accommodation partner, Nirvana Europe. They arrange accommodation (including race transfers) throughout a wide region around Newcastle:
