cut a sleeve off an old jumper, make it into a square and then cut a hole in the middle! voila, barbie poncho!

Great idea, poglet. Hadn't thought of that, so I'll try it. But I still need the knitting pattern, as I have a bagful of knitting wool oddments, and a pair of idle needles!
if you have daughters, neices etc. what about knitting them some headbands. i knitted one for my 18yr old and she loved it! or very skinny stripy scarves are popular with teenagers at present.

I love doing scarves, too, but I am now entering into the world of high fashion (Barbie Style)!! Our youngest grandchild is into dressing dolls, big-time, so I thought I would try and build up Barbie's wardrobe a bit, and am really enjoying it.

Thanks for your suggestions, poglet.
