Can You Play Movies From Sd Card Slot On A Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 ?

Can you play videos (say AVI or MPEG4 format downloaded on a PC) directly from a micro SD card inserted into the SD card slot on a SAMSUNG Galaxy Tab 3 or would the videos need to be transferred onto the internal memory ?

There's theoretically no reason why you can't play videos directly from a micro-SD card as long as it has high enough read speed. See my post here:
