You don't need a book.

Just take your time, get involved with the forums to see the potential problems and start very gently - don't try selling or buying expensive items until you know what you are doing.

Have a good look at the help boards here:

I must say that I have been buying and selling on eBay for years and have had no real problems.
I thinks theres an Ebay for dummies book in PC World.

I have a book called 'Find a Fortune, how to buy, sell and make money on ebay and at Boot Sales'. Its by Lorne Spencer.

Someone brought it for me as a joke at work (they call me the ebayqueen!), think it was 4 from one of those book people who leave books at work.

Although I use Ebay a lot, I have read this and is quite basic and in easy to understand terms, I lent it to my parents and they managed to list something - so it must be ok!!

But as Ethel says there is loads of info on ebay itself, they do tutorials to show you how to do things.

Happy ebaying!
