No Brian, definately Eric Idle with Terry Jones as the other bloke.

It depends which version you are listening to.

The nudge nudge man is always Eric Idle but the straight man may change.

sddsddean quotes Terry Jones as the other bloke but there is a version where Graham Chapman is the other bloke.

Eric Idle was the 'nudge nudge' man - Terry Jones was the other guy - I've never seen the 'straight' man being played by anyone other than him.


'a nod's as good as a wink to a blind horse'? thats a new one on me! all the other versions i've heard say 'bat' not 'horse'! where did you hear that one?
