Hiya Spanish would be Diego, French possiblly Jerome, sometimes Jaime is used as a popular equivalent. Hope this helps x
but I think Diego is spanish, Jacques is french and Giacomo is italian
what's the 'but' for? I don't know!
Would Jacques be Jack?
Spanish is also Diego, Jacobo, Santiago and Jaime... Believe is Jacque in les Francais (can't get the little squiggly on the bottom of the c)...
BTW Clanad, there should not be a cedilla beneath the c (i.e. ) in Jacques - it would then be pronounced zhask instead of zhak.
Thanks, kempie!

Our Grandson is called James.

In old Spanish it's Iago.

A bit off the subject, but all the same, James in Irish is Seamus.
I know you didn't ask for it in welsh but hey ho its Ioan pronouced - yo-ann
