Pontarddulais is a community and town in the City and County of Swansea, Wales. It is situated 16 km north west of Swansea city centre. It falls within the Pontarddulais ward. Wikipedia

To be fair, 16kms for the Centre, London isn't London!
Question Author
To describe this road as "in the Pontarddulais area of Swansea" is just lazy journalism. Pontarddulais might come into the Borough of Swansea but it is most certainly not part of the city in geographical terms.
in ryanair terms, pontarddulais is definitely in Swansea - if they flew there, "Swansea airport" would be at ystradgynlais.
Question Author
lol Mush ! Although Ystradgynlais now has a modern Tesco and a brand-new Asda, so why not an Airport !
duw, duw. it's moved since I lived there.
Question Author
Ystradgynlais or Pontarddulais Lady-Janine ?...I guess that they are both about the same distance from the City of Swansea.
