It's interesting that the people who most object to her making money out of her new found status or insist on dragging up her past are the ones who seem to have watched the programmes she was involved in most intently.
I won't cast aspersions on your viewing tastes.
I watched it, found it all quite depressing really - the reality that that is some (a lot) of people's lives, how crap must that be?
Marijn, as I'm sure you know she stole £13,000 from her employer Birmingham City Council. She had worked for them for 7 years and avoided prison because she had no previous convictions, was a single parent and her children would have gone in to care.
She did her 220 hours community service and has not been in any trouble with the police since.
Spare me the bleeding hearts. This woman stole from her employer to fund her partner’s drug habit, and there’s nothing about the benefits system she doesn’t know – which is why everyone around came to her for advice. According to the OP she’s still living in a council house which means we are still subsidising her, although hc says she’s not, but whatever, for goodness sake, get real! She’s been milking the system – and that means you and me – for years!
hc, you're wrong; I didn't know.
## "At the moment she's doing personal meet-and-greets at nightclubs which is a very lucrative market - you're talking £1,500 an hour. ##

I doubt very much she is earning £1,500 an hour, especially in Birmingham and Sheffield.
You would have to sell a lot of booze to afford that, and clubbers would go there, with or without her presence!

"Sh
All her money must keep her in fags.
Her agent does talk her up, it's true. She's supposed to have a cookery series on tv - already recorded and due for broadcast and a diet and fitness dvd (she's lost a lot of weight).
She now has a job.
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean she hasn't taken a step up.
Shame on you for being so judgmental.

I wish I was as perfect as you.
Do I detect an undertone of racism here? All the bouquets are lavished on White Dee, whilst no one mentions poor Black Dee, who may be languishing on the bones of her ****.
Black Dee is due to stand trial in Crown Court next May for supplying Class A drugs.
FrogNog, if you're talking to me, I don't doubt it for a moment. ;o)

Night all. :o)
i hope her children are enjoying a better standard of living. that's thee important issue imo .
Naomi, you wish, Night ;)
I like her. When she was on the the big debate programme she was the only person that let other people speak. All the others on the panel all spoke over each other to a point that it got unbearable to watch.

I've never even heard the woman speak as I don't watch TV at all, if I did I wouldn't watch the sort of programme she was in. Everything I 'know' about her is from the internet news and entertainment websites. I know she stole from an employer, was claiming benefits for many years due to mental health issues and is now famous for being on Big Brother and some other stuff.
I have no issue with her other than her hairstyle really ;) I couldn't care less if she hated mine by the way (which is just a normal chin length inverted bob).
