Many thanks Jim ... I wondered about 'Effie' but have never come across it in my life!
There's a film out recently called "Effie Gray", and a character in the Hunger Games called "Effie Trinket", or some such, but I've not heard of it otherwise either.

Effie is a diminutive of Euphemia, not a very common name these days but popular a hundred or so years ago.
Keaton is correct. Kean (Edmund of that ilk) around "to"
