sorry that was probably in the wrong section, but i like you guys here!
I have a private business doing just that, North West only though
My son's girlfriend's parents are private detectives, but it all sounds pretty boring really. They have to lurk for hours in the back of a cold van, waiting for some bloke who says he can't walk more than six steps to come out of his house and run down the street. I don't think they get many really exciting jobs.

i employed a private detective a few years ago after i had a tip off that one of my drivers was stealing fuel off his fuel card!!

i paid over 700 for some tacky useless photo's of my lovely van, they followed him for 2 hours in 2 days!!!

anyway, i argued the bill, and told them to come to my house for payment, it was like a scene from the pink panther when they came!! it was totaly ridiculos!!!

i hope i dont paint every detective with this brush but i can only hope you dont get the idiots i had!!

Did you paint them pink

yeh, reading it back,i see what you mean!!

i went a bit tony hart for a while didnt i??

I've used one: I had a business partner who'd done a bunk owing money, leaving me liable for his debts. I paid a private detective to find his address and he found him within a day - pretty good work seeing he'd moved to a new town and gone ex-directory. I paid 200 and thought I'd got my money's worth.
