Michael Aspel illegitimate children - spoof?

I watched a prog (made in 2003) on Sky the other night which purported to be a documentary revealing the "real Michael Aspel". It portrayed him as a womaniser and the father of many illegitimate children, including Daniella Westbrook, Shane Lynch and Mel B.

At the risk of sounding stupid...............was it a genuine documentary or a spoof in the vein of the Dale Winton/nell McAndrew wedding?

In my opinion there were elements of truth in this documentary, but due to the emotional distress it caused to those involved and perhaps legal wrangles behind the scenes, the made-up elements and facts have not been separated in the media.
