Whats the weather like in Thailand in July? I'll want a nice relaxing beach bungalow type apartment - not near any full moon parties etc. Anyone recommend any resorts and advise on weather?

The Indian Ocean side is wet in July, but the Gulf of Thailand side is warm and dry.

I'd go for the island of Koh Samui. Choeng Mon beach is perfect for you requirements - quiet throughout the day, and peaceful in the evening. There are a few bars and restaurants along the 600m long beach, but no music or parties. If you do fancy a night out,you are only 10 minutes away in a taxi from lively Chaweng.

I would highly recommend the Sala Samui Resort & Spa. My wife and I spent an amazing 9 nights there last July.
