My son watches Eastenders, and I saw some of it tonight at 7.30pm, and I was amazed at the level of violence.

Do we really need to see a man holding a broken bottle right up to somebody's face as soon as the show starts.

Or threatening people with a gun that early in the evening.

I thought there was supposed to be a 9pm watershed.

No wonder young kids are running around threatening people in their local areas when they see this on TV.

I know what you mean, but I did find it a bit laughable how Phil managed to just get away with a few cuts and bruises after a skip fell ontop of the car !!

Only could happen in Eastenders !!

eastenders mate.you know what, makes you wanna break out into song

WE LARVE IT. LARVE IT,LARVE IT LERVE IT LARVE IT.

I agree that too much is shown too early but can we really blame eastenders for kids today attitude?
It's a classic double standard - I turned off because I was disgusted. Can you imagine the furore there would have been if they'd shown Honey & Billy getting it off? Why is violence acceptable at any time and sex isn't?

Is it me or has anyone else noticed how homoerotic a lot of this violence is? If 2 fat baldies are the model then maybe I'll be content with hetero!
I say MORE MORE!! when it comes to violence in EE!! How about the entire cast meet up in the Vic' for as good old Cockney Knees up when...oh NO!!! A Boeing 747 (or maybe even a new airbus??) lands smack bang on the dear old pub!!!
Not even the invincible (but below average IQ'd) Mitchell bruvs' could survive that...could they?
Sounds like a Kenny death on South Park that bit BT76. Maybe there could be a plane crash, then a tanker crash, then an asteriod impact, and maybe a nuclear weapon to finish it off.
Great Minds think alike CT......

With the boring 'Sonia's a lesbian' storyline that we have had in the last few weeks it's nice to have a bit of action.

You can't shield children from the truth, these things really do happen somewhere in the world, would you be as quick to judge a shocking image on the news, which is shown all hours of the day? and which given all the war recently is a common occurence on the news.

And if it wasn't happening, everyone would be complainig that EE is really boring at the moment.

(hope I haven't offended anyone, I'm just saying what I think)

Sorry to be so blunt, but if you don`t like your son watching a certain programme, turn it off. when my young gransons stay with us, we DO NOT even put the tele on. anything I want to watch, I`ll record & watch at a later time.
