Can someone tell me what is so special about these dermabrasion kits? From what I can see, they are just the same as any 99p face scrub you can get in Boots.

I use Loreal dermabrasion kit about every couple of weeks (not twice a week as it says on the pack) I can recommend it - your face feels really soft and silky afterwards. On the first application I made the mistake of 'massaging' the first cream in for too long and my face was a bit red and sore, but now I stick to the two minutes and then rinse it off in the shower and then apply the second tube of moisturiser - lovely !! I find it cheaper at Superdrug.

I've used a facewash for ages which is supposed to exfoliate your skin and it doesn't appear to do anything. I've just bought a microdermabrasion kit (it was half price prior to Mothers Day so a bargain), haven't tried it yet but i've heard they give clearer, smoother skin with an even tone by taking the dead skin cells off. It's also supposed to improve acne. I can't wait to have clearer skin - saves money on make-up too!
I'm not sure why these dermabrasion kits are different to normally face scrubs but they are. I've been using 'Clean and Clear' face scrubs for a couple of years and they're great but I decided to treat myself to Tescos dermasbrasion kit as it was on offer! It's great, it makes your skin really soft and it definitely looks better. Weird but true!!
