I`ve had a standard holly bush about 5 foot high and 6 foot away side of the house for 5 years.2 years ago a new gas boiler was put in and the flue outlet put through the wall opposite the bush, which has now lost it`s leaves and turned black can this be from the gas fumes

Is it fumes or is it due to the hot temperature of the waste being exhausted? It sounds scorched.
