Hi there anyone been on the trams in Edinburgh are they claustrophobic at all I want to go on one but I struggle with claustrophobia?

You should be fine Gordie. They have big windows giving them an airy, spacious feel and there's plenty of room as the majority run empty all day.
why not hop on one and see? You can always get off at the next stop. My guess is it would actually depend on the number of people on board, or is that not a factor for you?
Douglas, if they're running empty most of the day are that a bit of a white elephant?
I saw them for the first time in Edinburgh yesterday. They looked space-agey and impressive, at least as spacious as a train, probably more so.
