Not sure where to post this so I'll start here......
I have an Excel 2013 spreadsheet containing dd/mm/yyyy fields, some of which are blank. What I want to do is, for all of the non-blank fields, fill them RED if the date in there is prior to today.
Tried various things but can't get it to work.

Put the following as a formula in the conditional formatting rules for all required cells:

=AND(A1"",A1
Aaaargh. AB doesn't show these formulas up correctly!

I'll try it again. It should be:

=AND ( A1 "", A1 > TODAY() )

If that doesn't show up correctly, I'll try to link to an image of it!

Ab Editor: We need a post preview button :-)

It almost worked that time! There should be a "not equals" sign after the first A1 in my 2nd reply. Then just choose red as the fill colour and that should work.
