Saw this last night at the LG Arena - wow, what a concert! A great band sounding as good as ever, very polished and professional performers (and well worth the 263 miles we travelled to see them). Is anyone else going to any of their concerts?

I'm not...only because other things were booked long before. I have heard fantastic reviews about it.....glad you enjoyed...x
The reviews are great - glad you enjoyed it.

I bet it cost a bit more than when I saw them in 1976 - £3.50 - and we got Elton and the Beach Boys too :)

We had perfect seats as well, centre block, 5 rows from the front. Sunny Dave, I daren't tell how much we paid but we thought it will probably be the last tour they do so we got the best seats that were available.
No,but Trish and I saw them at the McAlpine Stadium in July '96 on the "Hell Freezes Over" tour and as you say they were very good. The atmosphere was brilliant and when they finished off with Desparado,my favourite track, I think everybody in the stadium sang with them. A truly memorable night.

I know what you mean paddywak - the first part consisted of the slower, easy listening songs but after the interval the whole place was rocking. Don's Desperado is spine-tingling. I didn't want the night to end.
Is that the band who had the hit with ' welcome to the hotel California ' ?
sure was Bazile

Oo Well jel Kate !!!
First Paolo and now The Eagles, kate. I am so envious. I didn't know The Eagles were touring. How did I miss that! I could sing along to every song of theirs.
Actually Kate they're terrible, but being as I know you I'll take the tickets off your hands so you don't have to waste your time listening to such a load of rubbish while Trish and I take a hit for Team AB.
That won't work, paddy. :-)
Didn't think it would but you never know Tilly.I do know that anybody going to see them are in for a treat.
