I expect there are other factors sqad but I think healthcare comes into it as well. I don`t know if they discounted pre-existing conditions but one of the cancers mentioned was Kaposi`s Sarcoma which is one of those cancers that people with AIDS/HIV get. I would imagine that is more prevalent in impoverished areas.
I think stress does have something to do with it. Of the two people i know personally, who died from cancer before 45, one had OCD and one was a sport addict. It does make me wonder whether their immune systems just couldn't cope and made them more susceptible. Just a theory, though.
